ISO 9001

Clínica IMQ Zorrotzaurre is certified to ISO 9001: 2008 standard, in all areas: Hospitalisation, Casualties, Surgical Procedures, Oncology, Pharmacy, etc.Amongst other items, this certificate recognises best practices in management, quality and guidance for patients attending the clinic. Certified “in all areas” by AENOR since April 2014

Joint Commission International – JCI

Clínica IMQ Zorrotzaurre is the only hospital accredited by the Joint Commission Model, which is the most prestigious certification in the world due to the high standards it demands in healthcare quality and safety. There are only eight hospitals in Spain certified by the JCI. The clinic has been certified since November 2013

OSHAS 18000

 Another key initiative at Clínica IMQ Zorrotzaurrre is the safety of all the staff. This objective goes beyond the established regulatory audits. This certificate is proof of the appropriate management and improvement of ergonomic and workplace conditions for everyone working at the clinic. Certified since June 2015

SEMES Accreditation

Clínica IMQ Zorrotzaurre’s Casualties Service is the first private service in Spain to obtain a quality certificate from the SEMES (Spanish Society of Casualty and Emergency Medicine). This guarantees the quality of the healthcare provided to patients from a technical, scientific, training and management perspective in all of the processes for dealing with medical emergencies and casualties. The clinic has been certified since October 2014

UNE 179.003

Patient safety is a variable that is inherent to the healthcare process so the clinic has developed various safety initiatives focussed on minimising any risk to patients associated with the healthcare being provided. The certificate of compliance with UNE 179003 standard is an external guarantee that the clinic systematically follows these lines of conduct and is committed to continual improvement. ISO 50.001

As of March 2016 it is currently certified in Energy Management in terms of its position and engagement in reducing the impact of energy consumption.

UNE 166.002

It possesses the R&D&I certification under the UNE 166.002 standard that recognises the trajectory and position of Clínica for technology monitoring, design and the implementation of investigation and innovation projects, dissemination of knowledge and creativity management, among other features of this standard.
